Sema4 Works app is a component of a comprehensive lab reporting and symptom monitoring initiative designed to bolster employee safety when returning to work amidst heightened risks, such as the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Developed in partnership with HealthMode, Sema4 offers organizations and staff the opportunity to implement regular lab testing and remote symptom oversight for their workforce.

The primary aim of Sema4 Works, an extensively secure application seamlessly integrated with other Sema4 systems, is to facilitate early identification by employers of positive cases and individuals at risk through laboratory tests, swift symptom reporting, and a distinctive feature for cough monitoring. By utilizing Sema4 Works, employers gain vital insights into workforce health status, can enforce social distancing protocols, and extend COVID-19 testing to ensure the well-being of their employees.

 <li>Users have the ability to record their natural cough sounds.</li>
 <li>Information regarding their employer’s safety measures and isolation policies is readily accessible to users.</li>
 <li>Updates related to lab testing, including test outcomes, are promptly relayed to users.</li>

The questionnaire adheres to guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), while recorded coughs will be utilized for research purposes concerning cough characteristics linked to COVID-19. Furthermore, all systems are designed to be compliant with pertinent data privacy and security regulations.

Kindly note that HealthKit is used as an essential component of ResearchKit; however, no additional health data is collected through it.
